NATO Days 2011

More than 220 thousand fans attended this year's NATO Days. The largest airline, military and security event in Central Europe was held on 24 and 25 September 2011. At the exhibition it was possible to see the presentation of heavy military, police and rescue techniques, dynamic demonstrations of special forces, air displays and presentation of equipment, kits and equipment units.
At the same time there was the international aerospace exhibition FLYIN.

Those interested could also visit the Ostrava Airport company's stand, where they could find competitions for children and win small prizes, the adults were able to compete for weekend stays at the finest hotels in our region. All visitors had the opportunity to have a peek behind the scenes of happenings at the airport through historical and contemporary photographs, or also try what a check-in feels like, including passing through the security check.
