Travelling with children

Children up the age of two with a valid ticket are entitled to have their luggage checked in under the same conditions as adult passengers.

Children up to the age of 2 years (INFANT)

On CSA flights children under the age of 2 years, who have their own seat reservation, are entitled to carry a collapsible pram for free and 10 kg free baggage allowance.

On Holidays Czech Airlines Travel Service / SmartWings and Danube Wings flights children up to the age of 2 years are not entitled to free transport of luggage. Only prams, cribs and baby seats are free of charge.

From 26 June 2012 all exceptions for children registered in their parents' passport will finish. From that date all children must have their own passport.

Passengers are recommended to contact their tour operator in advance to verify information regarding children’s travel documents and luggage weight.

If agreed by the airport staff, the pram/pushchair may be loaded into the cargo hold just prior to boarding and handed over upon arrival directly at the airport ramp. The prohibition of liquids on board does not apply to baby food. Security staff have the right to ask the adults accompanying the children to taste such liquids in order to rule out any confusion with dangerous substances.
