From today, passengers have the option to book an air ticket on the airport website. The booking is possible either through the form located on the home page or at the address www.letenky-ostrava.cz

From 30th March 2008 the airport in Ostrava enters the Schengen area. In practice, this means that passengers will be able to enter SP without passport control.
Within the Schengen area they will not pass through passport control during journeys to Vienna and for charter flights during journeys to Greece and Spain.
For the other charter destinations - Turkey, Egypt, Bulgaria, Tunis, Montenegro, Croatia and Cyprus, then passengers have to go through passport control.

The charity cash box was opened on LLJO by representatives of both Rotary clubs. Since last week passengers have been able to contribute to the Umělá ledvina (Artificial Kidney) Foundation for which the collection is organized and the Stružielka project, which has supported handicapped children in their artistic activities for 15 years.
