From today at Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport, passengers can use a new service – luggage packing. From Monday to Saturday from 08.00 to 20.00 you can have your luggage wrapped in protective film. The service is situated in the new airport departure hall, and enables passengers to better protect the contents of their luggage before embarking on their holiday or business trip.

Recently new web sites of the Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava have been started. The web sites are constantly edited and updated. On June 19th one of the world’s largest cargo planes, An-124-100 Ruslan, took off from the Leoš Janáček International Airport in Ostrava. The plane transported two ship shafts weighing 44.6 and 16 tons to South Korea.
