CSA introduces new changes in the allowed free weight of baggage and also changes in fees for excess baggage. The change applies to tickets issued from February 25, 2015 inclusive.

The Czech Airlines is launching regular flights on the line between Ostrava and Düsseldorf from March this year. Connections will be operated three times per week using ATR 72 aircraft (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to Düsseldorf and Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays in the opposite direction) with a short stopover in Prague. The price of a return ticket will start at 6760 CZK including all charges, sales of tickets will start during this day.

Thanks to this new line Ostrava - Prague – Düsseldorf, now Czech Airlines can offer a convenient and fast connection to the German capital without transfers. Clients and their luggage who begin their journey in Ostrava will be checked in through to their final destination without the need to disembark the aircraft during the stopover in Prague. The same is valid for the way back.
In addition to the new route to Dusseldorf the Czech Airlines will open an office for flight tickets and other services at the Leos Janacek airport.
