The Danube Wings airline has suspended ticket sales for the route Ostrava - Vienna. According to the airline's representative, ticket sales should be restored after switching reservation systems around the end of May. The carrier is also preparing cooperation with international airline alliances to ensure better connection flights for passengers from the Ostrava airport.
From June this year, travellers from the airport in Ostrava will be able to use the regular flight to Stansted in London. This connection will be operated by the low cost airline Ryanair three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. One way tickets will be on sale from as little as 20 EUR on www.ryanair.com.
